"I was one of those annoying people; the social smoker who buys a packet of 10 on a night out, smokes the lot and then goes around nicking everyone else's.
Not any more.
It has now been a month almost to the day since I smoked my last cigarette.
So, how did I do it?
Fear is a big factor. Smokers often fear that they wont be able to cope or enjoy life without cigarettes - and that maybe they’ll never be completely free from the craving.
Hit the nail on the head again. I was worried that I simply wouldn't be able to do it.
Apparently it's the fear of never being free that drives the addiction - the key is to convince yourself that they are no sacrifices being made by quitting."
