Thought Field Therapy (TFT) is a form of meridian therapy.
Unlike acupuncture where needles are used, in TFT the meridian points are tapped in a specific order to combat a wide variety of issues including trauma, fears and phobias, anxiety, depression and addictions.
TFT was discovered and developed by American psychologist Roger Callahan in 1980 when treating a patient for fear of water using a number of traditional methods without success. He began to experiment with meridian therapy when the client showed a reaction in her stomach area while he used a technique called kinesiology.
One of its most notable successes was in 2000, treating survivors in war-torn Kosovo who were suffering post traumatic stress disorder. With a success rate of 103 out of 105 people, the treatment began to attract mainstream credibility.
At Concept Hypnotherapy, when we believe it will enhance your hypnotherapy session, we offer TFT at no extra charge.
