You may already be at the ideal weight but have difficulty maintaining it; be anorexic or bulimic or have poor self image and see your body differently to other people. You could be happy with the way you are but feel pressured to change for someone else.
Difficulty maintaining a healthy weight can be caused by a traumatic event, peer pressure, comfort eating, medical reasons, bullying and more. You may have mobility problems which preclude you from exercising or are self conscious about going to a gym.
We will work together towards confronting these issues and reprogramming your mind to accept a new way of life; increasing motivation, choosing healthy food, dealing with heightened emotions and anxiety, taking adequate exercise and improving your confidence and self image.
We help you decide on the realistic changes you need to make to develop achievable goals which are reviewed at each session. This way, you'll feel good about achieving small steps, rather than feeling down because it's taking you a while to reach your target weight or body shape.
